LARGE CAPACITY TEA MAKER and TEA POT set: 4.5 liter (155 oz) Glass Body and 1 Liter (33 oz) Teapot with STAINLESS STEAL STRAINER. The large kettle is perfect for boiling water, and the smaller teapot is for brewing a tea. You can also use the larger kettle to boil water, add some tea bags to make tea for a larger party
ENJOY TEA ALL DAY LONG. This is a 110V tea maker for US and Canada use. It has a stainless steel heating element at the base, and a glass container mounted on it. The footed base, handles and top cover are quality, heat proof, BPA FREE, synthetic material. The stay warm function, keeps water warm at the selected temperature (not at 100!) If the temperature drops (typically happens when you add more water), the system will reheat to boil the water. If you set the knob to 100, it will shut off.
DIMENSIONS and SAFETY GRIP. The unit is 42cm/16 2/8 inches without the kettle on top. With the kettle it is 53cm/21 6/8 inches. The handles of the large glass kettle have a silicone heat protection grip. Stand is made from durable, BPA free synthetic material.
EASY TO USE. Turn on unit, select preferred temperature. Unit will start heating up to boil water, then level off to the selected temperature. If you select 100 degrees, the unit will boil contents and then shut off. If you select any other temperature, it will go from boil mode to stay warm. At that point, it will reboil if you add more water or the temperature of the contents drop off the set temperature. Unit will shut off if there is no water left (overheat protection).
FOR BEST TASTE and longevity of samovar, only use filtered water. Glass Samovar when on stay warm function (blue light) will stay on continuously for up to 6 hours (then shuts off). If you wish to keep it on, you will have to unplug and replug to reset machine. This is a safety measure. Unit also shuts off if it runs out of water.
